Squid Dissection Lab

This Thursday (7/12)
Both Classes will conduct a SQUID Dissection.

The squid is a kind of mollusk called cephalopod.  This name means head-foot, because the head is connected to the foot or tentacles.  Other cephalopods include octopus, cuttlefish, and nautilus.  Squids have an internal shell. This structure is called the pen and runs along the back side of the squid, under the flesh or mantle.  Students will remove this during dissection.
